Part-Time Hibachi Assistant

We are hiring part-time Hibachi Assistants to join our at-home hibachi team! No previous hibachi experience is required. Training is provided at no cost.

This is a weekend opportunity, primarily on Saturdays. Events vary by season, with more work available in summer and fewer events in winter.

What you will do:
• Pick up prepared ingredients and supplies from our Livingston Manor, NY location.
• Travel to customers’ homes for private parties.
• Load, unload, set up, and clean cooking equipment.
• Learn to prepare hibachi meals and entertain guests with friendly conversation and simple games.
• Progress toward running events independently once trained and ready.

What we are looking for:
• Reliable, honest, punctual, and willing to learn.
• A friendly personality and comfort interacting with guests.
• Saturday availability.
• A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle capable of transporting equipment; an SUV is preferred.
• Willingness to drive 1–3 hours to event locations.
• Ability to safely lift and move cooking equipment.
• Basic English communication skills for greeting guests, discussing food choices, and checking allergies.

For independent events after training, starting base pay is $10 per guest, with a $100 minimum per event. Travel compensation and customer tips are additional. Tips and event availability vary.
