Nanny / Household Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, caring, patient, and organized Nanny / Household Assistant to support our family with childcare and day-to-day household responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, including children on the autism spectrum, and will be comfortable creating a safe, supportive, and structured environment.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday: 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Some weekends as needed, with advance notice when possible

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate childcare
• Assist with after-school routines, activities, meals/snacks, and evening routines
• Provide patient and consistent support tailored to the needs of a child on the autism spectrum
• Transport children to and from activities, appointments, or other scheduled destinations as needed
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children
• Help keep children's bedrooms, play areas, and common spaces tidy and organized
• Assist with children's laundry and light household tasks
• Help with household organization, errands, and occasional grocery shopping
• Maintain consistent communication with parents regarding schedules, activities, and the children's needs
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing home environment

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• Current CPR certification
• Previous experience working with children on the autism spectrum
• Prior nanny, childcare, family-assistant, or similar experience preferred
• Dependable, punctual, patient, and trustworthy
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable driving children as part of the position
• Ability to work the regular weekday schedule and occasional weekends as needed
