Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Generalist

You’ll support environmental and safety programs in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and improve EHS programs: ergonomics, environmental compliance, contractor safety, fall protection, machine guarding, IH sampling, and more.
• Conduct inspections, lead safety initiatives, and support injury investigations with root cause analysis.
• Deliver training, drive safety culture, and support sustainability goals.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and lead corrective actions.
• Serve as EHS point of contact for assigned areas and safety councils.
• Assist in emergency response and compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and EPA regulations.

You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, safety, engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in EHS, environmental, or industrial hygiene programs.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel between Goleta and Lompoc sites.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred:

• CHMM certification.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction training.
• Experience developing engaging EHS training.
