Quality Inspector - Aerospace

The Quality Inspector - Aerospace performs inspections on the manufacturing floor to verify the quality and conformity of machined parts, sheet metal assemblies, composite structures, and completed aircraft systems. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role supports aerospace manufacturing quality through precise inspection, documentation, supplier oversight, and audit activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections of aerospace components and assemblies.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, damage, and workmanship issues.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and inspection requirements.
• Verify materials against applicable specifications and documentation.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Perform supplier inspections to confirm compliance with quality requirements.
• Support and conduct quality audits across manufacturing processes.
