Pharmacy Technician | Chugiak, Alaska

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity offers a rewarding role supporting behavioral health pharmacy operations within a specialized medical facility in Alaska. The position is ideal for a Pharmacy Technician with experience or interest in acute care or behavioral health settings, including pediatrics and detox services. Availability to start immediately and commit to an 8 to 12-week assignment is essential.

Location: Chugiak, AK
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No weekends required

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory efficiently to ensure uninterrupted pharmacy services
• Coordinate Omnicell deliveries and maintain accurate stock levels
• Handle phone call triage, providing professional support and communication
• Maintain thorough and organized record keeping within pharmacy systems

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

• Valid Alaska Pharmacy Technician license (easy to obtain if not currently held)
• Previous experience in acute care or behavioral health pharmacy settings considered a strong asset
• Familiarity with HCS Web EMR order entry and Omnicell automation via Citrix/OCRA Remote Desktop is helpful but not mandatory
