Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:00–06:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III NICU serving approximately 190 births per month
• Monitor and care for neonatal patients, including newborn assessments and ongoing clinical management
• May be expected to float to Mother/Baby unit for infant care; candidates with couplet care experience may float fully
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts, which may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in NICU specialty
• Required certifications: BCLS, NRP, and PALS
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rates; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with couplet care (Mother/Baby) is a plus, enabling broader float eligibility
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Flexibility to support unit staffing needs, including weekend coverage beyond the standard every-other-weekend expectation
