Plenty of strong auto defense lawyers are kept just short of partnership for one reason: nobody ever handed them clients of their own. Others made partner years ago and now spend more time on administration than on trials.

This role is for either group.

\n

I'm Ryan Jaiswal from Distinct Recruitment, and I'm hiring an auto defense partner in Boca Raton on behalf of a client firm. Hybrid, trial focused and built around someone who wants to lead.

Three reasons it might be worth a call

\n

• You'd run the practice. The auto defense docket, the strategy and the trial calendar would sit with you

\n

• You'd lead people. Associates and counsel would learn from how you prepare, how you depose and how you try a case

\n

• You'd be judged on the work. A portable book is preferred, but it is not required, so a strong trial record and good carrier relationships carry real weight

\n

\n

The work itself

\n

• Defending auto liability claims, from soft tissue portfolios to catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters

\n

• First chairing trials and making the big calls on settlement and risk

\n

• Working closely with carriers, claims managers and insured clients

\n

• Building and supervising a team that can handle volume without losing quality

\n

\n

What's needed

\n

• Substantial Florida auto defense experience, including trial work

\n

• Florida Bar license in good standing

\n

• Leadership experience, or a clear readiness for it

\n

• A portable book of business is welcome and will shape the package, but its absence is not a deal breaker

\n

\n

The offer

\n

• $200,000+, negotiable on book

\n

• 1,950 billable hours

\n

• Hybrid, based in Boca Raton

\n

• Partnership with meaningful control over your own matters

\n

\n

Auto defense is sometimes underestimated as a partner practice. In truth, few areas give a litigator more trials, more jury experience and more exposure to the carriers who drive insurance defense work. A partner who leads it well becomes very hard to replace.
