Industrial Packaging Machine Operator (Material Handling & Forklift)

Your Mission

Keep the soil packaging line running smoothly while ensuring every pallet is built right and moved safely.

Schedule & Pay

• Pay: $17.00 – $23.00 per hour
• Shifts:
  • 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 4:15 PM to 2:45 AM
• Location: Lochbuie, CO

Core Responsibilities

• Set up and run automated soil bagging equipment; monitor speeds and make on-the-fly adjustments.
• Quickly clear minor jams and address basic mechanical issues to maintain output.
• Verify seal quality, labeling accuracy, and precise bag weights.
• Build pallets: package, inspect, stack, and stabilize product.
• Operate sit-down forklifts—with double-fork attachments—to deliver materials and stage finished pallets.
• Stretch-wrap and label pallets; transfer to warehouse storage or outdoor yards.
• Complete pre-shift inspections and contribute to housekeeping in a dusty industrial environment.
• Follow all plant safety practices and procedures without exception.

What It Takes

• Experience with production, packaging, or bagging machinery preferred.
• 1–2 years of forklift operation; double-fork experience is a plus.
• Stamina to stand 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Comfort working indoors and outdoors in an industrial, dusty setting.
• Willingness to work overtime—up to 60 hours per week, including weekends—during seasonal peaks.
• Steel-toe boots required.
