Production Planner

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to coordinate production schedules, manage work orders, and ensure materials and resources are available to meet manufacturing and customer demands. This role works closely with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service to optimize scheduling, maintain inventory accuracy, and support efficient manufacturing operations.

• Create, release, and manage work orders for bulk materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Develop feasible production schedules based on equipment, labor, and material availability.
• Maintain accurate production dates, quantities, and order statuses in SAP.
• Review material requirements planning (MRP) alerts and monitor inventory to minimize obsolescence.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to balance production priorities and customer commitments.
• Monitor production performance, schedule attainment, and customer service metrics.
• Conduct root cause analysis and participate in supply chain and production planning meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain processes and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
