Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist

• Conduct comprehensive substance-use assessments and help determine appropriate ASAM level of care.
• Develop, review and update individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group and family SUD counseling.
• Provide clinical services for clients in SAIOP, SACOT, ASAM 3.1 and ASAM 3.5, as applicable to Pinnacle’s licensed/contracted services.
• Complete intake, screening, discharge and transition planning.
• Perform crisis intervention and suicide-risk procedures within training/scope.
• Document clinical services in the EHR and ensure documentation supports Medicaid/MCO requirements.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment-team meetings.
• Coordinate referrals to psychiatry, medical care, detoxification, higher/lower levels of care and community resources.
• Monitor client progress and recommend changes in level of care.
• Help maintain compliance with NC DHHS, Medicaid/MCO, accreditation and agency policies.
• Provide ongoing supervision to fully credentialed CADCs/CCJPs
