24-hour shifts -- out-of-house call model
Up to 3 patients per shift; 2 - 6 patients seen per 24 hours
Level II NICU -- daily rounding on all babies delivered
Backup call coverage for APPs -- beeper call, 15 - 30 min response
Ventilation management -- invasive (ETT) and non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP)
Procedures: chest tube, central line, arterial line, exchange transfusion
Additional skills: nitric oxide, hemodialysis catheter, lumbar puncture
Staffing expansion -- 3 full-time providers needed for new NICU
We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
