Maintenance Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Job Title: RME - Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will utilize your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will also have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Gain experience with automated conveyor systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and follow schematics.
• Troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations.

Essential Skills

• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and safety standards.
• Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 2+ years of experience working with PLC-based control systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Baton Rouge, LA.

The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
