Job Description

This role offers an opportunity to work as a 1st shift assembler in a manufacturing environment that produces equipment for large trucks and heavy-duty vehicles. You will use hand tools and power tools to assemble components and support production operations as part of a general labor and assembly team.

Pay rate: $16.00/hr plus OT

1st shift: 7am-3:30pm M-F

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment and components for large trucks and heavy-duty vehicles using hand tools and power tools.
• Follow established assembly instructions, production processes, and safety procedures.
• Perform general labor tasks to support production, such as moving materials, organizing parts, and maintaining a clean work area.
• Inspect assembled parts for quality and accuracy and report any issues to the appropriate team members.
• Work collaboratively with other production and assembly staff to meet daily output and quality targets.
• Operate basic manufacturing and assembly equipment as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience using hand tools in an assembly or production environment.
• Experience using power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks with attention to detail.
• Capability to handle general labor duties in a manufacturing setting.
• Reliability and punctuality for 1st shift work.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work area.

This is a Contract position based out of Berwick, PA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
