Deli Prep Cook

• Prepare, wash, cut, portion, and organize ingredients for daily deli production.
• Prepare and cook soups, entrees, side dishes, sauces, vegetables, proteins, and other deli menu items according to established recipes and production standards.
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and preparation procedures to ensure consistent quality and flavor.
• Assist with batch cooking and daily production planning to maintain adequate product availability.
• Monitor product freshness, appearance, quality, and holding times.
• Properly cool, store, label, date, and rotate prepared foods using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Communicate production needs, ingredient shortages, and product quality concerns to the deli manager or supervisor.

Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older
