Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Room (3x12's, Mid-Shift)

Location

Lafayette, IN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Three 12-hour mid-shifts per week (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM) | Every other weekend required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population including medical, trauma, and mental health presentations across the lifespan
• Maintain a standard patient ratio of 1:4, with flexibility for lower-acuity assignments
• Operate unit equipment including Level I fluid warmers and document care accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate as a team player within a 32-bed Emergency Department to deliver timely, high-quality patient care
• Complete facility-assigned education modules prior to or during onboarding as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for the state of Indiana (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS
• Experience caring for patients across the lifespan
• Expected weekly hours: 36

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification preferred
• Trauma care experience with patients across the lifespan
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
