JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
Licenses: Active LA Medical License or IMLC, CDS, DEA with LA address
DEA/CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
Certifications: ACLS, ALS, PALS (if not BC in EM)
Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine required
Other Qualifications: CME within past 2 years, case logs, copies of all education & training diplomas, ECFMG if applicable, SS Card, Driver's license, color photo, TB results, flu vaccine, health attestation, interview with Medical Director

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Pro vide comprehensive ER emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
Manage acute medical conditions including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory ER emergencies.
Perform required ER emergency procedures (e.g., intubation, central lines, etc.).
Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and scribes in patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and com ply with hospital policies and regulations.
