Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures as assigned, including general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the radiology team accurately
- Maintain precise patient records, billing information, and image data; adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manage supply inventory
- Assess and assist patients across adolescent through geriatric populations, ensuring safety and quality of imaging

Requirements
- Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT(R)(CT) or RT(R)); CA Radiologic Tech license required; CT certification required or eligible; Fluoroscopy license in California required if fluoroscopy is used
- BLS certification from an approved provider
- Venipuncture certification required if contrast material is administered
- Advanced CT certification required in some states or as specified; CA preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent radiology work experience
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and adhere to clinical and safety protocols
