REQUIRED PROCEDURES

PEG Tube Placement
Esophageal Dilation
Upper Endoscopy (EGD)
Lower Endoscopy (Colonoscopy)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active NY State License
Board: Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the last 2 years
Other Qualifications: Epic experience required; no residents or fellows

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide 24-hour call coverage including office and procedure duties
Perform upper and lower endoscopies (EGD, colonoscopy)
Perform PEG tube placement and esophageal dilation
Manage inpatient and outpatient GI consultations
Complete documentation and administrative tasks
