Seasonal Shelter Case Manager, St. Louis

A non-profit organization is seeking a temporary (approximately 4 months, 10/26/26-3/5/27), full-time social worker to provide case management to individuals and families who are utilizing seasonal shelters over the winter months. Schedule is flexible and varies based on program needs. Requires one evening shift per week and every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments of newly admitted residents to the seasonal shelter to determine client needs
• Develop case plans including short and long-term goals to increase client functioning and resettle clients in permanent housing
• Participate in all phases of case management to advance the case plans and meet with individuals weekly to review progress and address concerns clients may have
• Connect clients with resources and make referrals to assist with issues such as employment, housing, utilities, budgeting, etc. to increase independence and self-sufficiency and to eliminate barriers
