JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC required (Certified)
- Licenses: Licensed in WA or Universal License (IMLC)
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS
- Experience: Comfortable with pediatric trauma and surgery; must be verified to perform pediatric surgeries
- Other Qualifications: Comfortable consulting on peds cases, HMP, endoscopic appendectomy
- Provide trauma surgery coverage for a Level III Pediatric Trauma center.
- Perform pediatric surgeries and consultations, including HMP and endoscopic appendectomy.
- Cover two weeks per month working 12-hour shifts (7A-7P or 7P-7A) as needed.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to manage inpatient trauma cases.
- Manage both adult and pediatric trauma patients (approx. 20 patients/day), including rounding.
