CNC Vertical Mill Operator - 1st Shift - Pay up to $30/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Vertical Mill Operator to join our team in Canton, OH. You will be working in a job shop environment with a focus on CNC machining on various metals, maintaining tight tolerances. You will be responsible for running operations, performing basic tool changes, and conducting maintenance tasks, using GD&T and reading blueprints daily to meet part specifications. You may choose to work either the 1st shift (6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) or the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC vertical mills, ensuring tight tolerances are maintained.
• Perform basic tool changes and machine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot machine errors and perform upkeep to ensure smooth operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints to meet part specifications.
• Utilize GD&T in daily operations.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating CNCs in a job shop environment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using calipers and micrometers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Mazak machines using Mazatrol systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of conversational machine control language.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $58240.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
