Production Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, parts, and finished products onto pallets safely and efficiently.
• Measure and prepare products for cutting using a tape measure and other basic tools to ensure accuracy.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment, including items being sent for powder coating.
• Perform general production duties such as packing, packaging, sorting, and basic machine operation.
• Inspect products for defects and verify they meet quality standards before moving to the next production stage.
• Follow established quality control processes and manufacturing procedures.
• Meet daily production goals and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to support smooth production operations.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and operational guidelines.

Required Skills

• Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labor environments.
• Ability to perform packing, packaging, and quality inspection tasks with attention to detail.
• Comfortable loading and unloading materials in a production setting.
• Basic machine operating experience.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently meet production targets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing or similar industrial environments is a plus.
• Interest in learning and advancing into Machine Operator, Forklift Operator, or Lead positions.
• Strong understanding of quality standards and production processes.
• Flexible to work rotating schedules as needed.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Manufacturing facility producing outdoor living and home exterior products.
• 1st Shift: 5:45 AM - 6:16 PM on a rotating 4x4 schedule.
• Initial training schedule: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM for approximately 2 weeks.
• Orientations conducted every Monday at 3:30 PM.
• Non-temperature-controlled production environment.
• Work may be performed across two facilities located within 5 miles of each other.
• Industrial production floor setting with standard manufacturing noise levels.
• No heavy lifting required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
