Machine Operator $20-24+HR - Now Hiring

Job Description

We have openings for both 1st and 2nd shifts for the role of Machine Operator. The 1st shift operates from 7am to 4pm, while the 2nd shift runs from 3pm to 12am or 1am. Candidates must be open to overtime. The position includes setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing machinery and equipment, as well as performing routine quality checks. Successful candidates will undergo training on the 1st shift for a period of 2-4 weeks. We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Apply Today!

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Read and interpret basic work instructions, blueprints, or production documents.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and production standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues or improvements.

Essential Skills

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours (3:00 PM 12:00 AM / 1:00 AM).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with machine operation, general labor, production, and assembly.
• Familiarity with inspection and use of hand tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medina, OH.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
