Dentist - Part time

Pay: $99.00 - $100.00 per hour

We are hiring a Dentist – Part time for one of our clients in Vernon, TX.

Job Description:

Contractor shall provide the following service(s) to patients of the Facility. The dentist performs various patient care duties under the supervision of the Medical Director.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Provide dental services for patients both routine and non-routine
• Perform documentation of all services provided
• Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, VSH Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed as a dentist by the State of Texas
• Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements
• Must submit to HHSC required drug test
• Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting
• Must complete facility and HHSC required training
• Must abide by staffing agency and VSH’s attendance and leave policy
• Must abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of HHSC and State Hospital

License, Certification, or Registration Required:

• Current and unrestricted license to practice Dentistry with the State of Texas through TDLR
• Must be certified by the American Heart Association –BLS in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and maintain that certification while providing services at the State Hospital
• Copies of CPR certifications must be kept on file with VSH’s Contracting office
• All certifications must be current and remain as such while providing services at the State Hospital

Selection Process:

• The Staffing Agency with the selected candidates will be notified by email.
• VSH’s Agency Hiring Coordinator will communicate with the agency and candidate(s) on dates and times to begin the process of onboarding.

If your staffing agency does not provide candidates for the services requested or at the Facility in need, no response is required.

Work hours:

• Shift Availability: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Days: Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday

Additional Information:

• Term: Minimum of 3 months with option to extend
