Job Overview

We are hiring multiple food service professionals to join the team  in Valhalla, NY. We have openings for Patient Dining Associates/Servers, Cashiers, and Prep Cooks at the Main Hospital and/or Children's Hospital.

Candidates must have previous work experience in the specific position they are applying for and be able to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and food safety.

Available Positions

1. Patient Dining Associate / Server

Pay: $17.00 per hour
Openings: 7

Available Shifts:

• 7:00 AM–3:00 PM — 3 openings
• 1:00 PM–9:00 PM — 3 openings
• 3:45 PM–9:00 PM — 1 opening

Responsibilities:

• Take and assist with patient meal orders.
• Deliver meal trays and collect used dishes.
• Provide courteous and professional service to patients.
• Follow patient dietary instructions and meal service procedures.
• Maintain clean and sanitary food service areas.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery.

Weekend availability is preferred, with rotating days off during the week.

2. Cashier

Pay: $17.00 per hour
Openings: 1
Shift: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases and payments accurately.
• Handle cash and operate the register.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Assist with stocking and general food service duties as needed.

Previous cashier, customer service, and cash-handling experience is required. The preferred schedule is Monday–Friday, with rotating weekends off.

3. Prep Cook

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Openings: 2

Schedule: Shifts vary and will be coordinated with the hiring team.
