Removal Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, handling, and delivering decedents for our clients while ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of vehicles including vans, cargo vans, and other industry approved vehicles
• Load, secure, and unload decedents with proper manual handling techniques to prevent damage or injury
• Navigate local driving routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
• Communicate clearly with clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries, providing excellent customer service throughout the process
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with state transportation regulations
• Assist with heavy lifting and proper handling of decedents during loading and unloading procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs for operational transparency
• Responsible for the safe, dignified, and timely removal and transportation of deceased individuals.
• Conducts removal from homes, hospitals, crime scenes, and public locations.
• Transport decedents to medical examiner offices, funeral homes, and designated care facilities.
• Demonstrate emotional maturity and compassion when interacting with families.
• Works respectfully and cooperatively with medical personnel and law enforcement.
• Performs duties requiring physical strength, coordination, and attention to safety.

Skills

• Experience operating passenger a vehicles
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations
