Pizza Cook

Prepare made-to-order pizzas in a high-volume kitchen environment, using a deck oven and established recipes to deliver consistent, high-quality results. This role supports efficient production through careful ingredient preparation, accurate assembly, food-safe practices, and strong coordination with the kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and pizza dough for production.
• Assemble made-to-order pizzas according to recipes and specifications.
• Operate the deck oven safely and effectively.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and food safety procedures.
• Monitor pizza quality and ensure consistent presentation and cooking.
• Coordinate orders to support timely, accurate service during high-volume production.
• Maintain a clean, organized pizza station.
• Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate replenishment needs.

Required Qualifications

• Pizza preparation experience or knowledge.
• Commercial oven operation skills.
• Strong knife skills.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
• Ability to follow portion controls and execute recipes accurately.
• Effective time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in pizza cooking.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler Card.
