Assistant Manager Retail

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of men’s suits, menswear, suit fitting, and styling, along with the leadership skills needed to support and motivate a sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers with suit selection, fitting, sizing, styling, and accessories.

Drive sales and support the achievement of store sales targets.

Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.

Assist with daily store operations, opening and closing, and POS transactions.

Maintain inventory accuracy, merchandise organization, and store cleanliness.

Support, train, and motivate sales associates.

Maintain visual merchandising standards and a professional store appearance.

Handle customer concerns, returns, and exchanges professionally.

Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Previous retail management, assistant management, or senior sales experience preferred.

Knowledge of men’s suits, menswear, fitting, and styling strongly preferred.

Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills.

Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.

Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible retail hours.

Achieve sales targets, deliver excellent customer service, maintain store standards, manage inventory effectively, develop team members, and build lasting customer relationships.

Reports to: Store Manager / General Manager

Supervises: Sales Associates and other store personnel as assigned
