Job Description

Our client, a highly respected personal injury law firm, is seeking an Alabama/Mississippi-licensed Associate Attorney to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on experience managing personal injury matters from start to finish while working alongside an experienced legal team.

The Associate Attorney will take an active role throughout the full lifecycle of personal injury cases, including:

  • Managing a caseload from intake through resolution
  • Gathering and reviewing medical records and other case documentation
  • Conducting discovery and responding to discovery requests
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and other parties
  • Evaluating case strategy and assisting with negotiations and settlement
  • Helping move cases efficiently toward resolution

Attorneys at all experience levels are encouraged to apply. The firm provides supervised training and mentorship, making this a strong opportunity for a newer attorney looking to develop substantive personal injury experience.

Ideal qualifications include:

  • Active Alabama and Mississippi law license
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Ideally, top third of graduating law school class
  • Preference for candidates who passed the bar examination on their first attempt
  • Approximately two+ years of personal injury or related litigation experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
  • Client-focused, professional approach

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Excellent commission structure with strong earning potential
  • Opportunity for continued professional growth and increased case responsibility
  • If you are a Mississippi-licensed attorney interested in building your litigation skills and taking ownership of personal injury matters, we would love to hear from you.
