Direct Care Worker

Senior Moments Assisted Living is looking for compassionate, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our team!

We provide a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment for elderly residents, including individuals living with dementia. We are looking for caregivers who genuinely enjoy helping others, take pride in their work, and understand the importance of providing quality care.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication assistance and administration according to training, facility policies, and applicable regulations.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning.
• Prepare and serve meals and assist residents with eating as needed.
• Complete daily housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and organized environment.
• Monitor residents for changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition and report concerns to management.
• Complete accurate and timely resident care documentation.
• Engage with residents through conversation, activities, and companionship.
• Follow individualized resident care plans and established routines.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and management to ensure continuity of care.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all residents receive proper care.
