Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys keeping things running smoothly and making sure everything looks its best? We’re looking for a dependable, team-oriented Campus Facilities & Event Support Technician to help maintain a beautiful 83-acre campus and prepare for the many events that bring our community together.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare for daily campus events: Set up and arrange tables, chairs, furniture, staging, and equipment for meetings, school functions, athletic events, and special gatherings.
- Keep the campus event-ready: Ensure spaces are clean, organized, presentable, and ready for students, parents, visitors, and school leadership.
- Support daily facility operations: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs involving basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and building systems.
- Be the go-to person after events: Help break down setups, return furniture and equipment, and make sure spaces are ready for the next day.
- Maintain a safe campus: Assist with snow removal, operate equipment, identify maintenance concerns, and address potential safety issues.
- Work as part of a team: Coordinate with facilities staff, vendors, and contractors to keep campus operations running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- General building maintenance experience and a well-rounded understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry.
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional, presentable demeanor when interacting with parents, visitors, and school leadership.
- Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
- A valid Colorado driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to operate a variety of equipment; snowplow experience or the ability to learn is important.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends when campus events require additional support.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM. Training will take place during the first couple of weeks, typically 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. Occasional overtime may be available for events but is not mandatory.
Why You’ll Love This Opportunity
- Excellent paid time off
- Discounted tuition, with tuition fully covered after three years of eligible service
- Supportive team environment with experienced coworkers to learn from
- Variety in your day—no sitting behind a desk all day
- The opportunity to make a visible impact on a welcoming, active campus
If you’re reliable, personable, and take pride in creating a safe, organized, and professional environment, we’d love to hear from you!
