Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Talento Search Group has an opening for a Production Supervisor in Houston, Texas. This is a direct-hire position on 1st shift. The salary range is $70,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Continuous Improvement in all aspects of production

Plan and assign tasks to hourly employees and shift leads

Assist in the timely closing of production orders and all daily/hourly reports

Ensure a safe workplace

Strong communication skills with all levels of management and hourly employees

Direct, evaluate, train, retrain and discipline employees

Ensure production department operates at maximum efficiency with minimum down time, producing the highest quality product with the lowest possible cost

Maintain and audit inventory and company policy and procedures

Other duties as assigned by management

Experience Needed:

At least 3 years of production supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience in machine operations and assembly

Experience coaching, counseling, and promoting a safe work environment

Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred

Experience completing production reporting and timekeeping

Ability to work in a team environment with other departments

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email
