NOW HIRING: Quality Control Microbiologist Analyst – 1st Shift

Location: El Paso, TX
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Schedule: First shift, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; hours subject to change

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Quality Control Microbiologist to support a laboratory in El Paso, TX. In this role, you will perform microbiological testing to help ensure materials, products, and the production environment meet established quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, products during manufacturing, finished products, and stored samples used to monitor product quality over time.
• Collect and test environmental samples to monitor conditions in production areas.
• Record, compile, and review test results, and track data for trends or recurring issues.
• Help investigate unexpected results and support corrective actions.
• Verify that laboratory equipment works properly and help confirm that testing methods produce reliable results.
• Support equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Assist with testing plans, process-change documentation, and quality reports under supervision.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and logbooks using Good Documentation Practices.
• Order laboratory supplies, testing chemicals, and other materials as needed.
• Clean and maintain laboratory workspaces and equipment.
• Follow laboratory safety and hazardous waste procedures.
• Keep laboratory records, equipment, and work areas ready for audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in biology or microbiology.
• One to three years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of microbiological testing and laboratory safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail when performing tests, reviewing results, and documenting work.
• Ability to follow written procedures and manage assigned laboratory tasks.
