Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) The position is based in an inpatient setting within the healthcare organization. The role involves evaluating client function and planning, directing, and administering speech therapy treatments as prescribed by a referring provider. The goal is to help patients reach their maximum level of independence and improve their ability to function following injury, disease, or disability.
Job Details
- Responsible for evaluation of client function as well as the planning, directing, and administering of speech therapy treatments as prescribed by a referring provider in an effort to restore function following injury, disease or physical/cognitive/developmental disability.
- Assists patients to reach their maximum level of independence while learning to function within the limits of their abilities.
- Participates in all operational aspects of the department and refers to the organization's mission and vision statements when providing care.
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Certifications as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), no experience minimum required, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8-hour days, and a minimum of 40 hours per week.

- Submission requirement: Candidates must be available to start on 11/02/2026 and work through 01/25/2027.
