Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Physician

We are seeking a Board-CertifiedOrthopedic Trauma Surgery Physician for a locums opportunityproviding on-site inpatient coverage at a hospital in North Chesterfield,Virginia. This role includes orthopedic trauma consultations, surgical care,inpatient rounding, and overnight call coverage.

• On-site inpatient call coverage
• Night call coverage required
• Approximately 8 patients per day
• Inpatient EMR: Meditech
• Outpatient EMR: eCW

• Provide orthopedic trauma coverage for inpatient and emergency cases
• Perform orthopedic trauma consultations and evaluations
• Provide surgical management for orthopedic trauma patients
• Participate in inpatient rounding and postoperative care
• Respond to orthopedic trauma needs during night call
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Orthopedic Trauma experience
• Active Virginia medical license
