Retail Store Manager

The Retail Store Manager reports to the District Manager and leads a small team of fewer than 10 employees. This role oversees daily store operations while prioritizing inventory accuracy, customer experience, sales growth, and team training and development.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations and maintain efficient workflows.
• Create and manage staff schedules for a team of fewer than 10 employees.
• Lead sales management efforts and achieve sales goals.
• Control inventory and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Oversee visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Deliver a strong customer experience and resolve customer conflicts.
• Implement loss prevention practices.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail management.
• Knowledge of retail operations and inventory management.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and visual merchandising.
• Understanding of sales forecasting and loss prevention.
• Demonstrated team leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
