Staff Pharmacist (Permanent Position)

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $130,000 - $141,000 annually (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 (grossed up to offset taxes)
Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 based on relocation distance

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately and safely.
• Monitor medication therapies and provide clinical recommendations to healthcare providers.
• Counsel patients and healthcare staff regarding medication use, interactions, and side effects.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation within the EMR system.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and pharmacy-related programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient care.
  

Schedule

• 13-hour shifts
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend
• Holiday Rotation: Shared among pharmacy staff

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience
• Current pharmacist licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Current Flu and MMR vaccination compliance
