Position Overview

We are seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join an established anesthesia team at a Level II Trauma Center in Lima, Ohio. This opportunity offers an autonomous practice model, a broad range of surgical cases, flexible scheduling, and strong earning potential.

CRNAs work collaboratively with anesthesiologists while maintaining significant clinical autonomy in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a diverse range of surgical procedures.
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
- Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures.
- Manage patient airway, hemodynamic status, and recovery from anesthesia.
- Participate in regional and block anesthesia services.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in trauma and emergency surgical cases as needed.
- Participate in 24-hour in-house call based on clinical responsibilities and applicable scheduling arrangements.

Clinical Environment

- Level II Trauma Center with a diverse surgical case mix.
- Independent CRNA practice model with anesthesiologist support.
- Approximately one anesthesiologist for every 8–10 CRNAs.
- Established team of seven CRNAs, with plans to add two providers.
- Regional and block anesthesia program.
- Case variety includes general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, OB, cardiac cases, and trauma.
- Bariatric and transplant cases are excluded.

Cardiac opportunity: CRNAs with cardiac anesthesia training or experience may have opportunities to participate in cardiac call.

Compensation and Benefits

- Base salary starting at $235,000+, with higher compensation based on experience.
- $60,000 sign-on bonus with a three-year commitment OR up to $100,000 in student loan repayment with a five-year commitment.
- Premium overtime rate of $185 per hour.
- Choice of 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts.
- 280 hours of paid time off annually.

Required Qualifications

- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Eligible for Ohio CRNA licensure.
- Strong clinical anesthesia experience across a variety of cases.
- Ability to provide safe anesthesia care in a diverse surgical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Cardiac anesthesia experience or training.
- Interest in an autonomous CRNA practice model.
- Comfort with trauma and a broad range of surgical cases.
- Interest in participating in cardiac call, if appropriately trained.
