Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Location

Poplar Bluff, MO | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical units, including ortho, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patient populations
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, adjusted based on acuity
• Float between two Medical Surgical units (5th and 6th floor) as needed
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes across a 36-bed unit environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Missouri
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Willingness and ability to float between Medical Surgical units as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry or step-down patient populations
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Experience in ortho, surgical, or stroke care settings
