Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with required Cardiac Cath Lab experience to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac and radiology procedures.

Details\n

\n
• Cardiac catheterization laboratory setting supporting diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for cardiac and interventional radiology cases
\n
• Serves a diverse patient population across the age continuum
\n
• Supports STEMI cases, vascular emergencies, pacemaker insertions, Impella insertions, and balloon pump insertions
\n
• Neuro IR and interventional radiology experience preferred
\n
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
\n
• On-call required on a 1 week on, 1 week off rotation, 24/7 coverage
\n
• High Spanish-speaking patient population with translator staff available for support
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
\n
• Circulating experience required
\n
• Minimum of 1 year hospital-based acute care experience required
\n
• MRT, RCIS, or CVT certification required; ARRT certification preferred
\n
• CPR certification required
\n
• Associate's degree in applied science from an accredited radiology or cardiovascular technology program required
\n
• License required if applicable
\n
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Reports to the Cath Lab supervisor and works under the guidance of the catheterization laboratory technologist
\n
• Performs a wide range of diagnostic and interventional functions in the catheterization lab
\n
• First-time travelers accepted
\n
• Accepts local candidates within a 50-mile radius at the local bill rate
\n
• A supervisory reference is required for consideration
\n
