We are seeking applicants who currently live in Moreland or the surrounding Metro Atlanta Georgia area and can commute to our location each workday.

This is an in-person position requiring work in our office and equipment yard. Remote, overseas, freelance, and agency arrangements are not available. Hours are M-F 8-5. Some travel and some after ours events


About TAC


Transportation Auction Consultants specializes in auctions of commercial trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. We are looking for a creative, dependable marketing professional to showcase our inventory, promote upcoming auctions, and help attract qualified buyers and sellers.

This hands-on role combines digital advertising, photography, video creation, drone operation, website updates, and auction catalog preparation. You must be comfortable working outdoors around equipment and completing detailed work in the office.

What You Will Do

• Develop and manage online advertising campaigns for upcoming auctions and featured inventory.
  
  
• Create and publish content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  
  
• Photograph trucks, trailers, vehicles, and heavy equipment for auction listings and advertising.
  
  
• Film and edit equipment walkarounds, TikTok videos, reels, and auction previews.
  
  
• Operate a drone to capture aerial photography and promotional footage.
  
  
• Update our website with auction dates, featured equipment, and promotional content.
  
  
• Upload, organize, and review auction catalog photographs, videos, and descriptions.
  
  
• Coordinate with sales and yard staff to verify equipment details and obtain missing information.
  
  
• Create graphics, email campaigns, and auction announcements.
  
  
• Track advertising results, engagement, inquiries, and buyer registrations.
  
  
• Maintain an organized content calendar and meet auction deadlines.
  
  
• Support the sales team with promotional materials and qualified marketing leads.
  
  
• Travel to equipment locations, auctions, and events as needed.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience creating marketing content for a business or organization.
  
  
• Experience setting up and managing paid social media advertising.
  
  
• Ability to independently photograph inventory and produce clear, detailed images.
  
  
• Ability to film, edit, caption, and publish professional social media videos.
  
  
• Drone operation and aerial photography/video experience.
  
  
• Proficiency with Canva or similar design software and video editing tools.
  
  
• Experience updating website content or uploading online product listings.
  
  
• Strong writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
  
  
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and check work for accuracy.
  
  
• Comfortable working outdoors in an active equipment yard.
  
  
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
  
  
• Ability to report to our Moreland GA location every scheduled workday.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant marketing or content creation experience.
  
  
• Experience with auctions, commercial trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, transportation, or dealerships.
  
  
• Experience preparing online auction catalogs or detailed product listings.
  
  
• A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  
  

A degree is not required. Candidates, including recent graduates, must demonstrate the practical skills needed through relevant work samples. Personal social media use alone does not meet the experience requirements.
