We are actively seeking a Production Technician to join a technology-focused manufacturing company serving the semiconductor industry. In this hands-on position, you’ll assemble precision mechanical and electromechanical components while maintaining exacting standards for quality, appearance, and functionality. You’ll work with specialized production and testing equipment, independently troubleshoot many day-to-day production challenges, and help ensure products are built correctly while minimizing rework.

To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Bring
  • 2+ years of relevant experience of hands-on manufacturing or assembly experience, ideally involving precision mechanical or electromechanical components, production tools, measurement equipment, or product testing
  • High school diploma, trade school diploma, or equivalent
  • Experience performing precision mechanical or electromechanical assembly work
  • Ability to effectively perform both repetitive and non-routine production assignments
  • Skill working with applicable hand tools, production equipment, and mechanical measurement devices
  • Strong attention to product quality, careful material handling, and cosmetic condition
  • Ability to resolve routine production questions independently and escalate highly complex issues when necessary
  • Capability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Reasons to Join This Team
  • Contribute to precision manufacturing supporting technology-driven industries
  • Gain hands-on exposure to specialized assembly, measurement, testing, vacuum, and production equipment
  • Take meaningful ownership of workmanship, product functionality, and quality
  • Work in an environment where experienced technicians may have opportunities to help orient and train less-experienced team members
  • Join a temporary assignment that may be extended based on business needs
What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Assemble precision mechanical and electromechanical components according to production requirements
  • Produce functional, high-quality assemblies while minimizing the need for rework
  • Handle components carefully to prevent cosmetic or physical damage throughout the assembly process
  • Operate applicable hand tools and equipment that may include arbor presses, high-energy magnetizers, ovens, and vacuum systems
  • Use mechanical measurement devices, oscilloscopes, data collection test equipment, and electrical or electronic hardware as required
  • Work with various solvents in connection with assigned production activities
  • Adapt established procedures, techniques, tooling, materials, or equipment when production requirements call for specialized approaches
  • Maintain assigned company tools and keep individual work cells and shared production areas neat and orderly
  • Follow workplace safety requirements, including the use of safety shoes and shielded safety glasses
  • Assist periodically with orienting or training lower-level employees and perform other reasonably assigned production duties
