1st shift Forklift Operator - 3 month assignment

Forklift Operator Location: Wyoming, MI Shift: 1st shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Mon - Fri Pay: $20.00 per hour Job Summary Workbox Staffing is seeking an experienced, motivated candidate for a Forklift Operator position. You will be responsible for performing warehouse operations, helping to ensure materials and products are moved safely, efficiently, and accurately throughout the facility to support production and shipping. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. What You'll Be Doing As a Forklift Operator, your core responsibilities will include: Drive a sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the facility Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport vehicles Conduct daily inspections of the forklift, report any damage, and ensure the work area is clean and organized Track the movements of goods, maintain accurate inventory records, and rotate stock appropriately Coordinate with other warehouse and shipping staff to ensure smooth operations In addition, you will also be expected to [additional task or responsibility that adds value]. What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have the following: Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work 2-3 years of experience operating a forklift or hilo Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and able to complete tasks repetitively A strong understanding of safety regulations is vital to prevent accidents Willingness to work as part of a team to meet project deadlines Skills: Teamwork and communication: Works effectively with other departments to support smooth warehouse operations Ability to read and speak English fluently Adaptability: Perform well in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple tasks Problem-solving: Quickly think and find solutions for unexpected challenges on the job Time management: Efficiently manage time to meet deadlines and maintain high productivity Safety procedures: Understand and follow all safety regulations (OSHA), conduct pre-shift checks, and maintain a safe work environment Why Join Us?
