Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification for an OR-focused position at a Level 2 trauma center.
Details
- X-Ray Tech position supporting a 4-room radiology unit
- OR-based role, performing outpatient, inpatient, and ED imaging when not covering OR cases
- Level 2 trauma center with a high volume of ortho and spine cases
- No rotation through fluoroscopy
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Night shift schedule of 32 hours per week, Tuesday-Friday 11p-7a (4x8 hours)
- One weekend commitment per month
- No call requirement
- Must be comfortable floating to the OR
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an X-Ray Technologist required
- BLS and ARRT certification required
- NH State License required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with PACS, C-Arm, and portable imaging equipment
- Skilled in imaging extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies
- Operating Room imaging experience required
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic imaging in the OR as well as outpatient, inpatient, and ED settings
- Preferred experience includes outpatient, inpatient, ER, teaching hospital, community hospital, NICU, and adult ICU settings
- Preferred familiarity with contrast, fluoroscopy, and enema studies
- Preferred experience with GE, Siemens, and FUJI equipment
- Scrubs provided
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced rate
