Alliance Workforce is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for a busy production facility in St. Petersburg, FL! If you enjoy hands-on warehouse work, staying active, and working in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity to join a team that keeps production moving.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspect product quantities and colors to ensure orders are accurate.
- Move products from wooden pallets to plastic pallets when needed for production.
- Transport verified orders to the correct departments on the production floor.
- Read and understand pull tickets and order paperwork to determine proper product placement.
- Use a scanner to track orders and confirm their designated locations.
- Coordinate with warehouse managers, clerks, and forklift operators to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Keep orders moving to production while following all warehouse safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience using a pallet jack.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures, including heat and cold.
- Ability to read order paperwork and communicate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
