Customer Service Cashier | $18.99 per hr | 8:00 am - 4:00 pm / Day Shift / Fulltime Onsite/ Temp Contract

Job Summary
City of Houston is looking for a Customer Service Cashier for their Houston Police unit. This position will be responsible for front desk reception, meeting and greeting visitors and processing payments.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for answering calls, filing two slips, processing incoming & outgoing mail payments
- Process automotive licensing, assist with archiving, processing open record requests,
- Process notification letters for abandoned vehicles, assist customers with any automotive industry questions, reconcile receipts, and assist in any area needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or a GED.
- One year of money handling experience is required.
- Accurate Data Entry skills needed
- Proficiency in ten-key data entry by touch.
- At least nine months of education or training beyond high school.
- Two years of data-entry experience. Customer service and cashier experience.
