Security Manager

Abacus Corporation is seeking an experienced Security Manager for a temporary assignment supporting a distribution center in York, PA. This individual will be responsible for overseeing site security and conducting investigations involving incidents, theft, safety concerns, and other security-related matters.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal investigations related to theft, loss, workplace incidents, and security concerns
• Interview employees, witnesses, and other relevant parties as part of investigations
• Review surveillance footage and other available information to identify and document incidents
• Prepare clear, accurate investigation reports and maintain appropriate documentation
• Respond to security incidents and assist with determining appropriate next steps
• Monitor and assess security risks within the distribution center
• Partner with site leadership, Human Resources, and other stakeholders on security-related matters
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive investigations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in law enforcement, corporate security, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or a related field
• Strong investigative and interviewing skills
• Prior law enforcement experience is highly preferred
• Experience conducting workplace, theft, or loss-prevention investigations is a strong plus
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
• Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment in sensitive situations
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced distribution center environment
• Ability to start quickly is highly preferred
  

Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Plus Over Time
