Delivery Helper

The Delivery Helper supports delivery operations by assisting dedicated and rotating drivers, working independently when needed, and helping transport and deliver furniture, appliances, and other bulky residential items. This role contributes to safe, accurate, and dependable deliveries through effective item handling, route navigation, documentation, and customer service. THIS JOB REQUIRES HEAVY LIFTING.....

Responsibilities

• Load and securely prepare furniture, appliances, and other bulky items for delivery.
• Assist dedicated and rotating drivers with assigned delivery routes.
• Navigate delivery routes using GPS and route-planning tools.
• Handle packages and bulky items safely throughout the delivery process.
• Provide professional customer service during residential deliveries.
• Obtain and maintain proof of delivery.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Work independently when needed to support efficient delivery operations.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in delivery operations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• GPS navigation experience.
• Package-handling experience.
• Experience with delivery management software.
• Strong time management, customer service, communication, and reliability skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
