Shipping Supervisor – Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Pay: $24–$28 per hour

Job Summary

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking an experienced, bilingual Shipping Supervisor to oversee daily shipping operations, manage department employees, and ensure orders are accurately prepared and shipped on time. This position requires strong leadership, communication, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Receiving, and Quality Control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, organize, and manage daily shipping department operations and employees.
• Ensure forklifts, order pickers, cranes, hand tools, and other equipment are in proper working condition.
• Review daily operational reports to manage workload and determine overtime needs.
• Coordinate with Sales to address order requests, priorities, and shipping issues.
• Work with Logistics to coordinate outbound shipments, including flatbeds, motor freight, and hot shots.
• Communicate with Receiving, the Front Office, Sales, and upper management through email and other channels.
• Verify materials and shipping documentation to ensure Bills of Lading (BOLs) are attached to the correct orders.
• Identify and resolve material discrepancies, order substitutions, and project order issues.
• Coordinate with Quality Control regarding material discrepancies and nonconforming stock.
• Train employees on department work instructions, job responsibilities, quality policies, and department procedures.
• Follow established Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and ensure department processes are followed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the PVF (Pipe, Valves, and Fittings) industry.
• Previous shipping, warehouse, or distribution experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience coordinating outbound shipments, including flatbeds, motor freight, and hot shots.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Experience with material discrepancies, order substitutions, and inventory verification.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and oversee a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with forklifts, order pickers, cranes, or other material-handling equipment preferred.
