Precision Mechanical Inspector -$32/hour (Direct Hire)

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

• Perform first-piece, in-process and final inspection of a variety of machined parts.
• Reading machining drawings and have a working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Working with common measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, plug gauges, height gauges and gauge blocks
• Also programmable optical comparators, micro-height gauges, gear roll testers and various precision bore measuring instrumentation.
• In-house calibration of measuring equipment, preparation of inspection reports, first article inspections, compilation of information necessary for product certification and record maintenance.

Qualifications

• At least two years previous experience
• Working knowledge of geometric dimension and tolerance
• Experience with measuring instruments.

Hours

Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm

The salary is up to $32.00 an hour based on experience
